Curt Wear (CEO/Founder)

Curt founded Community Playgrounds inc. in 1977. He has been personally involved in all aspects of playground installation for more than 30 years. Besides being a Certified Installer of Playground Equipment, he is also a Certified Playground Safety Inspector. Also Certified on the TRIAX 2000 impact tester.

Christian Velasquez (Estimator/Operations Manager)

Joined Community Playgrounds in 2002, as an assistant project manager. For the past 8 years he has had the pleasure of providing services to public and private entities. He is proud to be part of one of the best playground companies in the industry. His goal is to provide the best service to each customer and to every project.

Rita Schoch (Estimator/Project Manager)

Joined Community Playgrounds in 2006, bringing 5 years of general contracting experience with her. Prior to working in the contruction industry, Rita spent over 8 years in real estate sales. The customer service philosophy she cultivated in that demanding field has served her well in her role at Community Playgrounds. She holds a B.S. in Environmental Policy Analysis & Planning from UC Davis. Rita is an officer of NAWIC (National Association of Women in Contruction).

Lisa Murphy (Controller)

Lisa has worked as an accountant in various industries for more than 25 years. She holds a BS degree in Business Administration.
