We’re happy to say that since opening Community Playgrounds in 1977, we have completed thousands of playground projects for some of the largest contractors in California. Community Playgrounds is not a franchise. The company is owned by the Wear family. Their playground business is the oldest playground equipment and installment company in California. They started their playground construction services in Marin County. Eventually, they moved their office and warehouse to Vallejo, California, not far from the historic waterfront area known as Mare Island. Just down the street is Six Flags Discovery Kingdom, literally minutes from their back door. The location is centrally located off of Highway 80 to reach Concord, Antioch, Oakland, San Jose, San Francisco, Silicon Valley, San Bernardino, Sacramento, Napa Valley, Stockton, Bakersfield, and Hwy 5 leading to Hollywood, Los Angeles.
