• Construction Project Manager –The position will require both project management and estimating responsibilities. This role is essential to our business operations, and we are looking for someone who has had experience running a project management program. We currently have an Assistant Project Manager and Project Administrative Assistant on staff to support this role. This role reports directly to the firm’s Vice-President and CEO.
• Construction Project Estimator – The position will require estimating responsibilities. This role is essential to our business operations, and we are looking for someone who has had experience running an estimating construction project projects. This role reports directly to the firm’s Vice-President and CEO. Minimum 3-5 years of construction management experience with estimating full projects.
• Full-Charge Bookkeeper – We are looking for an experienced bookkeeping, finance, controller, or accounting professional to join our team full-time [preferred] basis. Applicant MUST have demonstrated working in a construction office with bookkeeping experience with a reputable company, as well as experience using Sage 100 Contractor or similar bookkeeping software.
Who we are
Community Playgrounds has completed over 15,000 playground projects in our 43-years as playground equipment installers. Careers in construction have started with us. A handful of installers and project managers have been with us for years. Without them, we would not have the notable clientele that we do, such as Golden State Warriors, Los Angeles Unified School District, San Francisco Unified School District, University of California childcare centers (at multiple locations), and San Francisco Moscone Center.
We have worked with most large construction companies that operate in the State of California, including Ghilotti Brother, Swinerton, Webcor, Matt, Balfour Beatty, Icon Constr, McGuire & Hester, Turner, Cahill, and Plant.
